Announced in November 2017, Laulima Development LLC has purchased the 30-acre site located at 6400 State Farm Drive in Rohnert Park, CA, and is planning to transform the former State Farm Insurance campus into a dynamic urban-center development consisting of 120,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 130,000 square feet of creative office, 300 apartments, 145 for-sale townhomes and a 150-key boutique hotel.Station Avenue will celebrate its grand opening in the fall of 2020.

As the premier development in Rohnert Park’s new downtown, Station Avenue is a transit oriented development (TOD), and as such is designed around the 18-hour day—where life doesn’t stop before, during, or after work.

Adjacent to Station Avenueis the Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) train connecting residents of Sonoma and Marin counties to the nearby jobs, education and shopping. The train also delivers commuters to the Larkspur ferry terminal in Marin, for a connection to San Francisco.

Rohnert Park was one of the nation’ s first planned communities and is home to Sonoma State University. Located in the center of Sonoma County, the city is just 25  minutes from the major North Bay employment centers of San Rafael, Novato, and Santa Rosa. Downtown San Francisco is also just a 50-minute drive away, making Station Ave a desirable choice for those wanting access to the City while also fully enjoying the Sonoma County lifestyle.

“We’re committed to bringing about our most forward-thinking ideas in order to attract the best to Rohnert Park,” says Laulima president David Bouquillon. “Our goal is to make this a project that not only enhances the community but goes a step beyond by giving Rohnert Park a new identity at the crossroads of all things Sonoma. Here we  bring together in one place Sonoma County’s world-class wine country bounty and color, while also offering unparalled residential options and office solutions. We have already begun to embed ourselves in the community to fully understand how this development can best benefit its people, and we can’t wait to share what we have planned.”
